Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme and a potent digestive aid found in some plants. It has been traditionally used to benefit digestion and absorption of vital nutrients, joint health, energy levels, immunity, lining of the gastrointestinal tract, and slimming (due to its ability to boost fat metabolism).

The activity of Bromelain is measured in GDUs (Gelatin Digesting Units) which indicate the proteolytic (protein digesting) activity. HealthAid®© Bromelain is derived from the stems of pineapple and highly concentrated containing 1200 GDUs per capsule.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: one capsule daily with food. Can be increased to two capsules daily if required.
